What’s On in 2017

In 2017 Damien Leith is returning to the festival and on Good Friday Peter Byrne is returning with the Celtic Beat.  Also on Saturday is the children’s GreenArt, Fashion on the Green competition, the Art Show and Markets in the main street.

Kids entertainment includes a jumping castle and a teacup ride and is free for the kids all day on Saturday. All entertainment is covered under a general admission ticket into the Festival.

Gala Opening Art Show

Gala Opening Art Show with drinks & nibbles entry $15 per person.

A major highlight of the Tullamore Irish Music Festival is the Art Show being held in showground pavilion over the weekend.

The Art show has been a popular attraction over the years, with a following of supporters that grows every year.

Many artists from Tullamore and all over the Shire display their work. The pieces are for sale, so come along and have a browse and maybe buy that perfect piece of art that you have been looking for.

An inspirational journey covering over 60 years of Irish music and humor with the award winning captivating artistry of Multi talented performers Peter Byrne, Paul Martell, Eileen McCann and Cameron Maher.

Together these Irish born multi talented performers will feature the music of The Corrs, Foster & Allen, The Fureys, Van Morrison, The Pogues, Thin Lizzy, U2 and many more Narrated by multi award winning comedian Paul Martell whose Irish charm and sense of humor will fill you with life stories on these iconic performers along with amazing images and videos.
CELTIC BEAT Legends of Ireland is unlike any other Irish show you have ever seen. The show will have you singing clapping laughing in your seats from start to finish. Each artist will perform hits from Ireland greatest singer songwriters with angelic Irish tones that are sure to melt your heart away. Showcasing traditional Irish instruments such as fiddle, bodhrain, mandolin, guitar tenor banjo and bo. This is a show you do not want to miss…

Damien Leith 5.00pm -7.30pm

Damien Leith (born 18 January 1976 in Dublin) is an Irish-Australiansinger–songwriter. He was the winner of the Network Ten music contestAustralian Idol 2006. Since winning the title, Damien has released seven albums, four of which peaked in the top two of the ARIA Charts, including two number ones. He has also released eight singles. He has been awarded seven platinum and one gold certification for albums and singles by ARIA, which equates to sales of just over half a million.

Damien Leith has found a place in the hearts of a generation of Australian music lovers. With a cluster of hit singles (#1 ‘Night Of My Life’) and albums (Where We Land, Catch The Wind, Remember June, Chapter Seven, Roy, Songs from Ireland), TV hosting, two published novels (One More Time and Remember June) through Harper Collins Publishing, and a recordingi studio in Sydney, Leith is one talented and in demand artist. Leith lives in Sydney with his wife, Eileen and three young kids, Jarvis, Jagger and Kikki.

Seltic Sirens 3.00pm – 5.00pm

Come on a journey and be mesmerized by the Sirens’ call with their enchanting harmonies, spellbinding arrangements of traditional and popular favourites, encompassing an entirely magical visual experience.
The Sirens’ stunning vocals and visuals in combination with the Celtic harp, Irish Bodhran, pennywhistles and fiddle, bring a special sound to their shows.

Their four part ‘wall of sound’ harmonies, an enthralling silver winged dance, toe tapping renditions of upbeat melodies and rousing favourites get one humming along and are very much remembered.
The Seltic Sirens draw on a vast repertoire of styles ‘Danny Boy’, ‘All Souls Night’, ‘Skye Boat Song’, ‘Orinoco Flow’, ‘Bonnie Swan’, ‘Nights In White Satin’ just to name a few. Their interpretations of songs by artists range from Enya, The Corrs, Moody Blues, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Nicks and Kate Bush show their versatility, with their own originals thrown into the mix.

Art Show

To kick off the Celebrations the Visual Art Exhibition will open on Thursday 13th April 2017  starting at 7pm and costing $15pp. The exhibition will feature categories in all paint mediums, drawing and sculptured items.
The Art exhibition will be open for the during the festival and is free of charge once you have you festival armband.
