Trundle Light Horse Association

Members of 6th Light Horse -Trundle Troop, will attend the Tullamore Irish Festival during the Easter Weekend.

Members will take part in the street Parade at 1000hrs Saturday 3rd, a Tent-pegging demonstration at 1200hrs and again later in the afternoon of Saturday.

Tullamore Irish Festival Hurdles

Racing over a distance of 357.5 yards, the festival event brings a keen interest in the community where riders can race in several categories.
Prizes are available for competitions, First prize is $70.00

Rules and conditions

1. All horses must be ridden in a safe manner with one hand on the reins at all times. Rough riding may cause disqualification
2. Horses may be disqualified if they cause interference to others
3. Decisions of the stewards will be final

Irish Tug-O-War

There are four teams, each pulling from a center point. The first team to pull the knot over the line of the team's quadrant is deemed the winner.

Street Parade

Participate in the spirit of the festival.

'Wearing of the Green' Competition

Entries for Adults and children. Make the most of the Irish theme.

Be as green as possible.

Lots of prizes are available during the festival.
